ABOUT THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR
Jeannette and Breanne are cousins who have a passion for creative writing. As children they would write short stories, along with Breanne's sister Claire, and would read them to their families after dinner as entertainment. They were famously known for their horror fiction titled, "Crash, Bang, Boom!"
Creating this book together has been a labor of love and a dream come true for Jeannette and Breanne who always dreamed of publishing a work of their own.

About the Author:
Jeannette Briggs is a working mother of two young children. Jeannette has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and currently resides in Calgary, Alberta with her husband and children. After her daughter became fascinated with a 3-legged dog named Brutus, Jeannette decided to capitalize on this interest by telling her children stories about the adventures of Brutus and their grandparents’ dog Harley on her family farm in Saskatchewan. Over time, Jeannette wrote a series of 'Brutus stories' to teach her kids important life lessons in a fun and interesting way that would grab and hold their attention.
Jeannette grew up on a farm near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where she and her brothers were often warned not to play on the pond in the winter for fear that the ice wasn't strong enough to support them. Her children now visit their grandparents at the farm as well as live in a lake community within Calgary which has prompted Jeannette to educate her children on the dangers of playing on thin ice.
Great book for all ages! Cute story, has a lesson to be learned, kids loved it. Hope she releases more in the series would be a great collection for any child!

Breanne is a Grade One teacher with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, and a Masters of Education from the University of Calgary.
She resides in Calgary, Alberta with her husband and two dogs, Banner and Arthur.
